Columbia Basin College has set an admissions application deadline of August 5 for fall quarter 2010.

In the past, potential students could apply for admission right up until the time classes started. Research shows that those applying for admission late, register for classes late, and those students have the highest rate of failure among college students. With classes filling up, it's important that students apply as soon as possible to be able to register for their classes.

If you are paying for your fall quarter tuiton by web ePayment (KIOSK), or at the on-campus Cashier by paying in full or enrolling in STEPP (Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan), it is due on or before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010.

The website will be very busy on this date, so access the site early! On this date, lines will also be very long for walk-ins at the campus Cashier, so come early! If you wait until the due date to pay, allow at least an hour to wait in line.

There will be no billing or statements sent for balances due. Students are responsible for knowing and adhering to the dates listed in the quarterly schedule. Students who do not pay on time may be removed from classes.

Tuition for registration or schedule changes on or after August 11 is due immediately.
