Become exposed to the arts.  Events are going on throughout the year.  Visit the Arts Center for up-to-date event listings.

 

Event each April that brings area schools to the campus to learn about renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and green building practices through fun hands-on activities.  This event is co-sponsored by Franklin PUD and Columbia Basin College.  More Information

Students in Writing Camp
The Office of Diversity & Outreach offers summer camps each summer. These camps provide educationally enriching activities for 6th- through 9th-grade students in our service district and are intended to create a foundation for future learning.

Each quarter (fall through spring) representatives from more than 25 colleges and universities come to CBC to talk with high school students interested in attending their institutions.  For the date of the next College Tour, please check the CBC calendar.

Early Childhood Education Program
Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a vocational program designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of early childhood settings.

Parenting & Early Learning Program
Where Parents and Children Learn Together

The Parenting & Early Learning Cooperative program is celebrating its 30th year at CBC working with parents and their infant, toddler, and pre-school children.  The program helps parents learn to create nurturing and stimulating environments because the first five years are critical to a child's brain development.
